Audiences will be exposed to Classical Indian Dance: Bharatha Natyam and Indian folk dances. The programme provides an info-ed session on the components (rhythms, hand gestures, facial expressions) to enable audiences to better understand the nuances of Indian dance.

Bhangra is a lively form of dance from Punjab. What began as a part of a harvest festival celebration dance has enjoyed a surge in popularity worldwide. Along with the traditional Bhangra, the dancers perform hip-hop moves and stunts. An interaction session will give you the opportunity to try out this high energy dance.

“Stories Come Alive” is a story telling assembly program designed to to tell both fictional and non-fictional tales in an interesting and exciting manner. This program will enact popular and obscure legends, tales and folklores from various countries such as India, Egypt, Indonesia and many more. Deepavali and Aladdin in Arab Street are examples of stories that will be used to understand how these folklores came about to become a part of people’s culture.
